Thought I'd share this with the group in case your not aware. This technique works with Internet Explorer. Not sure about any other browsers.

To magnify the screen, you can either click on the magnifying glass directly above the clock on your computers task bar OR press an hold the CTRL key then press the + key. This will increase the screen magnification. Repeatedly pressing the + will continue to incrementally increase the size. To make it smaller again, use either the magnifying glass mentioned previously OR press and hold the CTRL key then press the - key.

This is a great method for zooming in on photos to see additional details.

I'm glad you submitted this tip. I'm sure it will help a lot of people.

On the mac I use "command +". I do it all the time. Much better on the eyes.

Another simple trick for web pages: For some reason a lot of people set up some very useful web pages with backgrounds that interfere horribly with reading the information. If I hit one of those I just go to edit and click on "select all" (or click and highlight the part I want) like I was going to do a 'Copy & Paste" but just leave it like that and the background is gone. The highlighted page is a zillion times easier to read.

Oakay, now we are talking! All you guys that set your screen resolutions so high, and then can't see what is on the screen, if your resolutions are set lower, there is no need to magnify (or so the LOML keeps telling me ). And you can still use that trick if you need to.

It's funny Tim, as I was typing up the first post, I actually thought to myself...."Well, everyone but Tim, Bill, and Ed will appreciate this!" Since you guys are all at 800 x 600 resolution, it won't benefit you too much. But hey, if you want to get even closer....you now know how.
