I just finished building my new guitar

I can't say I used the shopsmith for all of the work on this project, but a lot of it was done on the shopsmith including the final buffing to bring it to a glossy shine.

Many of the jigs used in building this guitar were built on the shopsmith as well.

Very nice job! Let us know more about how much time goes into something like this. I have thought about doing a guitar kit one day.

I also do guitars. Nowadays electrics-Les Paul style. My Shopsmiths are the centerpieces of power tool luthierie. Whenever I can, I post on luthier forums about the SS. Mike T. (my OPR's are miracle workers-I have the two old style, and darn near bought the new last week.)
