I want to polish the aluminum base for my Mark V wheels. There will be other items I will be wanting to polish, too. Right now I have nothing. What do you guys have the best results with? Which type of buffing wheel/pad do you use! Which buffing compound do you use? Do you sand first with 400, 600, 1000 paper or emery cloth first? Any suggestions here would be much appreciated!

What I Do
1. Clean parts with( purple power). Soap degreaser
2. Then use 240 grit ,Emory paper goto hi-er grit if to many scratches
3. Next polish wading
4. Mother, s mag + aluminum polish
5. Easy as stacking B Bs

What does polish wading mean? What’s Mathers s mag? Do you use Mothers by hand or using a buffing wheel? And by the way, stacking B B’s is impossibly difficult! Lol

Used to be called magic wading polish. Kind of a wool wading in a aluminium polish. Mothers Used by hand and buffing wheel where it will fit. TheBB reference because I don't like high polished tools.
