Tryin to rewire a shopsmith motor from 220 to 110

Purchased this 1956 Shopsmith that had been converted to 220 volt back to 110. This is how it is wired now:
L1 Black through the switch to another black wire
L2 White throuth the switch to a green wire
Blue and White wires are tied together.
Anybody know how to correct the wiring to 110 volt?

Normally, somewhere on the case of the motor or on the manufacturer's label there are some guides for how to wire the motor. This is especially true for reversible motors or motors that operate on different voltages (110/220).
Are we dealing with that one in a thousand that has no markings?
If yes, is there at least a part number on the motor? Maybe some web based research will yield a drawing.
If this is a Shopsmith motor (Emerson or GE), a call to customer service may give the information. (1-800-543-7586) If it is a Shopsmith motor, the vendor data will be nearly useless. Shopsmith has place restrictions on the suppliers preventing them from disclosing much of the data.

Check continuity from black(motor) to blue(motor).
Check continuity from white(motor) to green[?](motor).
If continuity does NOT check out, Determine which two pairs of wires do. Perhaps black to white and blue to green[?]. Post with results of pairing tests and we will try using new found info.
IF continuity cks out, TRY connecting black(motor) to blue(motor) to L1 switched side.
AND white(motor) to green[?](motor) to L2 switched side.
BRIEFLY turn on(plug into 115v) to see if it runs or just hums. If it runs, all is well. If it hums, reverse the white(motor) and green[?](motor) wires and try again. If it hums, we are NOT correct. If it runs, all is well.

My 115v/230v SS motor has No connection info on outside of motor.
