I have email notifications turned on for new posts among other things but in the last few days I have not been receiving any. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've been receiving emails for new posts in threads I've posted in.

I know it has been quiet. That is not the point. There have been posts and there have been 3 replies to this thread since I posted it and I have not gotten an email notification about them.

I have not received an email notification about your posts to this thread either. In fact, I don't get email notifications nor do I send email notifications.

I discovered the the control panel where you select the "email" and "notifications" preference. I had ALL but one email notification turned off.

PS: Maybe not true. I found a post in notifications that came from you (John). It is not in email so maybe is NOT an email notification. This just shows -- one never gets beyond learning stage.

Yes Notifications on the forum work fine. It is just the email notifications that I am not getting any more.

Since I had them all turned off...I have no past knowledge. I am of no help.

Email notifications have been slow lately. If the app knows you viewed the new posts I don't think it sends out an email. However, somewhere in the queue there's a delay before I receive email notifications so I may get an email after I've viewed a new post.

Now that my attention has been drawn to that control panel, I have made a number of changes (mostly turning off "notifications'.
