Back ordered for months It came today. Have not used it yet but seems to be very well built for the $15 price tag.

It is a collar that you put on your main table to get very fine adjustments when making projects which need to be really close in tolerances. This link shows Nick demonstrating this collar and how to add a additional marking method to it. It is definitely a well worth add-on to the SS.

Thanks. I remember seeing this video way back when I came into the forum. Didn't relate the wording to the application.
For us newbie's it sure helps when posts include links.

I certainly am not a professional and I definitely hesitate to say that I am a skilled craftsman.
The number of posts to this forum hardly makes a difference. I can run that number up by simply saying "Hi, welcome to the forum" or "Wow, what a good job you have done".
