The Texas Tele Update 5-9-09

Post by guitarnut »

The Texas Tele is starting to look like something!

The resaw table has been fabricated in aluminum and the guitar top has been resawn and planed.

Mark,
That's an amazing refitting job on the table. That wood is equally amazing. Really looking forward to seeing more as it progresses.

Hi Gene.

Thanks for the comments. I am really excited about the guitar project. I haven't built one in sveral years. At this point I am waiting on routing templates. I should have them in this week though. Fingers crossed.

Here's a link to the last one I finished several years ago. It has a bookmatched curly maple top with a mahogany back. I wasn'r as good at documenting the builds back then but there are some build shots and the finished guitar.
