The machine ok, however, every so often the display goes blank. PP still runs ok, but blank display. Turning the machine off then on again solves the problem, until it happens again.
Any ideas?

Check the connectors on the controller and make sure they aren't loose. You have to look for possible damage to wires and cables too. If you performed a DIY PowerPro upgrade on a conventional headstock then you already know how to disassemble the components to check connections. If you bought an assembled unit I don't know if your manual has the information you need. You can purchase an upgrade manual if you need it.

BTW: is this a Gen 1 or Gen 2 PowerPro?

The issue I have with my PP is after it has been on for a while the display starts flashing through the startup sequence but does not finish it and starts it over again. I need to turn it off and back on again. It happens more quickly on hot days or if I use it for tuning or other functions for a while. I need to let it rest or cool down. I do not get any error codes ever. I have not had time to open it back up yet.
