I came across a power station but it's missing the entire carriage. I have not purchased it because there are no parts available from SS or on the internet. I was hoping that maybe someone out there may have some extra parts in their shop to make this station complete. Otherwise a good shopsmith tool will just waste away.

Where y'at? You may be able to attach a spt mount. Just brainstorming here.

Nevada. it's different animal. the carriage moves along two slots in the frame and requires a lever to lock it in place.

Yes that allows insertion of the coupler.

The spt stand could be similarly attached.

JPG's suggestion could work for some SPTs to be mounted to a Power Station. I think having it mounted to a board that could be locked down in the center slot in place of the actual locking handle could work. Unfortunately, that arrangement would only work for some of the SPT's like the Jointer and Shopsmith Scroll Saws. They both mount to the upper Mounting Position. Most of the SPT's use the lower Mounting Holes which are very close to the Bench Top. It depends on which SPT you are wanting to use on it. I use a Power Station for my Scroll Saw so JPG's suggestion could work for that. I do not use my Jointer on the Power Station due to its slower RPM's compared to the Shopsmith Mark itself. The recommended speed for the Jointer is generally higher than the Power Station will go.

Making a Carriage for it would be another possibility.

OK for the 'lower' requirement, plywood with 2x4 under the PS top with grooves to clear the PS slot rollover.

I think it would be possible, but not as desirable as OEM.

If cheap enough, I would go for it.

thanks for the feedback. I went to check out this power station and it's not worth getting too many missing parts. So I passed on it.
