If you have the steel table, you can use the miter gauge and lock it in place. I use a board on the miter gauge and sometimes use a clamp on each end of the board to prevent any flexing when resawing.

For the aluminum table, Shopsmith sells a fence #555645 that I recommend. I have modified (cut down) a 500 fence and used the 500 main table removable fence rail bracket to mount to the aluminum table.

I have a Harbor Freight 24" aluminum bar clamp that I broke the sliding lock finger attachment. I drilled the sliding part and bar and used a bolt to lock them together so it fits the bandsaw table. I bolted a 4" board to the bar. I can move this setup (hammer) to allow for any blade drift. This gives me a quick to use fence. This 24" aluminum bar clamp is ITEM 38183-8VGA and is cheap.
