sketch-up models of SPTs

a couple of the recent threads here have gotten me to wondering:
is anyone setting up a sketchup library of the various SS models and SPTs?
seems like it could be a really handy resource for the different people trying to design storage solutions or doing what-ifs for various jig designs.
IIRC, google even runs an open library that might put SS into the public eye if people started putting scale models of the different configurations there.
or did I perhaps miss a copyright or other issue that might make this a bad idea?

Ivan, I haven't created ant SketchUp models of SPTs (yet) but have done some detail parts. Each part I've done was shared in SketchUp's 3D Warehouse.

It is spooky that you started this thread. I just walked in the house with measurements of all my SPT's and tables. I cannot work the sketch up program but I have been trying to learn turbo cad. I am not very accomplished at it though. I can furnish some measurements if anyone is interested in pursuing this.
Thanks
Mark

Speaking of SketchUp, I just finished a model of the Tailstock (got nothing better to do with my evenings)...

Great model, Tom!
For those struggling to learn SketchUp, here is a fairly new site that should help a lot. It's called "SketchUp for Woodworkers". This may have already been mentioned before, but it's worth listing it again.

Special Purpose Tool or Single Purpose Tool. Take your pick! Special seems the prevailing use.
