Interesting new tools that can be used on the Shopsmith

I just received the current e-mail newsletter from Woodworker's journal and in it they featured a new product called the Spider sander by T&T design.
I went to their site and watched the video on their products both those now available and "coming soon products" there are interesting. I particularily liked the 'WASP' sander that transforms a drill press into a belt sander.
Check them out the site is easy to navigate and the products are sort like "why didn't I think of that?"

Taking a look at the title, can this tool be used on the Shopsmith?

I assume we are talking about the WASP, I don't see why not? The only problem would be a hole to position the outboard roller, in thevideo they use a slot in dril press table. If there isn't a hole to hold the outboard roller that would work on a Shopsmith I'm sure a board with a hole drilled in and clamped to the main table would work.

This is really good stuff and I may have to have all three heehee. Also looks to be made in America by real Americans. I'll sure support these folks and write a report when I purchase one, two or all three items. Thanks for the update.

Well I see the Spider sander finally made its way from Japan to the US.. Back in 94 while stationed in Japan, they were using this type gizsmo among other types of sanders to refurbish government housing... refinishing kitchen cabnets..
I nice product that worked very well but the refill sanding sleves are a little costly..

Did we all watch the same video? I saw two Australians named Terry and Terry. The video extolled the cheap method of replacing the abrasive(cutting standard sandpaper) as well as using other 'stuff' as abrasive.
