Has anyone ever heard of a MENARDS P.H.D? There is one listed on local craigslist. Did a google on it - found the following:

Kind of old:( . Just wondering if anyone here knows anything about one.

How can it be 'kind of old'?
I would offer him what you are willing to 'gamble'.
Depending upon who actually built it, the internal parts May or May NOT be interchangable.
IMHO it is worth a small gamble.

If the ON/OFF switch are pushbuttons and located on the motor pan, then it would appear to be a Total Shop clone. Does it have a 1 1/2 HP 110/220 VAC motor like the Total Shop? This is a 56 frame type motor and was the reason I brought several Total Shops. No pictures or HP was given in the ad. The cast iron tables can be modified to fit the Shopsmith. All the attachments/accessories should fit the Shopsmith.

I would not pay a lot for this unit as no new and very few used parts are available. I will be happy to offer help and/or assistance if anyone buys it.
