I just restored the jigsaw for my Greenie and the table has a noticeable lean towards the back. The front edge is higher than the back edge. I don't see an adjustment for this. Are there shims needed to level it out or maybe I have something put together incorrectly.

I believe that I figured it out. Looks like the trunion is bent. I don't think that I can straighten it without breaking it. Anyone have a trunion lying around that they would be willing to part with?

Since the mounting points (pairs of holes) are so close together there is no way shim it to correct the problem. Start keeping an eye out for a replacement. Hopefully you can find one that is not damaged. Jig Saw parts come up for sale from time to time. You may have to buy more than just the Trunnion.

You have little to lose trying to "bend" it back but don't do it while the Trunnion is on the Jig Saw.

Something I noticed in your first picture is the Mounting Posts. The ring, indicated by the arrow in your picture below, should be near the bottom of the Mounting Post. It sits on the Headrest and should be set so anytime the Jig Saw is placed on your Mark 5 it is already aligned. The early Straight Mounting Posts used either this ring or a collar to set the SPTs position. With the Eccentric Mounting Posts that position is set at the eccentric offset.

There is a 1980 Jig Saw Housing for sale on ebay. It looks like a complete housing with the mounting posts and more importantly the Trunnion. A bit spender than if the Trunnion was for sale individually but finding it separate is less likely. It would give you some spare parts and if the nylon piece of the Yoke Assembly is in good condition that's a plus. That is a common part needing replacement.

I see a separate 610 jigsaw trunnion only as well.
