Speed Contaol Handle problems

Hello,

I recently picked up a used Mark V (500) and it has a problem with the speed control handle. It does not stop once it reached the fast or slow settings and will rotate infinitely. The speed does change; however, it is difficult to tell what speed I am using the machine at (only by listening to the motor noise). Any suggestions as to what the best repair for this problem is?

Welcome to the forum.

Make sure to check that all parts including the spring part no 504196 are there and in good shape when you dissemble for adjustment.

Glad you joined
