I'm pretty sure this is for my Shopsmith (500 upgraded to 510), but don't know what it's for. The diameter of the shaft is 1/2": too small for molder head, shaper cutters, or dado set.

That looks exactly like the arbor that came with my ShopSmith mount RingMaster.

That isn't made for the Shopsmith arbor. They do not normally tighten down in the flat properly. Those are very common at all tool sellers. Here is one page.

I am Quite surprised it was a SS/Ringmaster standard issue! It looks like a "Craftsman catch all arbor" I purchased 40+ years ago! I drilled out the inboard hole and tapped it for 5/16-18 set screw(SS issue) and put the original set screws(both of them) in my misc. junk box. The original set screws were NOT 5/32 hex.
