Well after 3 years of frustration with the miter gauge that came with my Shopsmith I finally broke down and bought a new Incra V120. I also got the 18" extendable bar and the Flip Shop Stop at the same time. What a difference this has made to my mitered edges! I had all but given up on cutting miters until I got this little beauty. If you are in the market for a great after market miter gauge then give this one a close look.

Do they make one with a miter bar to fit the Shopsmith or did you have to mod one.

Yep a sweet accessory for sure. I use the miterset with my SS miter gauge and have had wonderful results. Just my 2 cents.

Incra has a miter bar that fits the Mark V miter slot. I don't know if it will also fit the V120.
In fact, I don't know that the miter bar is even available now. I just looked at the Incra site and do not find it.

The Shopsmith miter bar from Incra does work on the V120. That was the setup I bought directly from them. They are just now shipping them to All in One Woodoworks up in Canada.
It sets up very nicely and I was able to salvage some nice black walnut that my other miter gauge had slipped a little on. You can easily make sacrificial fences for this little guy too. 1 degree increments and a preset at 22.5 it is a dream come true.
Now I am thinking about their miter express!
