Traded up from my old 10er...

Hi D.T.,
It never hurts to start with lubrication of the sheaves, and speed control. After that, you can rest assured that switching it on will knot cause damage that it might otherwise cause. If you have knot already done so, scrutinize all of the
Sawdust Sessions relative to maintenance. They should keep you on the right track.

As I told my english teacher, "ya done good". I can't add anything to the saw dust session suggestions. When you clean the headstock out, be careful around the clip that keeps the wiring away from the sheaves. You can pull it out and it causes bad stuff. ( learned the hard way
) I have learned the hard way to "read and follow" the instructions from the SS manual. If you don't have one, I think it is worth the price.

Don Look's like the Ar craigslist is better than the
Tulsa ones. Machines like that over here are going for a lot more. Looks like a good deal for all of that and a bandsaw. I like the bands saw for the small projects I need. Does a great job of resawing when adjusted right to make small toys and pen blanks. But never give up the ER.
Still looking for a greenie to my collection.
