Does anyone know if the blade mount upgrade allows for the use of standard "pin mount" blades. I have the newer style scroll saw. Thanks

No, the scroll saw upgrade uses the same plain end blades as the screw type mounts. They just change the set screws from allen ends to flag style thumb screws and a quick release system.
