Just picked up a Craftsman molder head at a local yard sale
Can I use it on my SS Mark V? What if any adapter would be needed? Case indicates it will work on a 5/8 arbor

You can use it as long as you have the arbor for it.

YES.....BUT! The length of the hole in the molder insert is shorter than the modler insert. This presents you with a large distance from the edge of the hole to the molder head/cutter. I would NOT recommend it!
Also the SS cutters do NOT fit the craftsman head. You would need craftsman cutters to use it.

You can make your own wood or plastic insert.
