Found this on another woodworking site. Just a heads up for people looking for a deal on Craigslist or the Bay.

Stolen JET 1220 Lathes
A week ago, our club trailer and all our club lathes were stolen. If anyone hears of someone trying to sell JET 1220 lathes (6-speed) please let me know at ckemp001@columbus.rr.com. The lathes were stolen in Columbus, OH and all of them have been modified by removing the factory light and having a bracket installed to hold a Moffett snap-on light. These lathes were used at club meetings and for our version of the Young Turners Program.

Thanks in advance for keep you eye out for our equipment.

Have to give them a "Fair Trial" before hanging them with an old, but strong, rope!

Mike,

Sounds messy and why ruin a perfectly good planer?

:D

How about tying their balls to a lathe and turning it on very slow speed?

This wasn't funny from the beginning, and it's just getting worse with every post. Do the rest of us really have to be subject to this sick humor?

Sincerely,
