Hi,

With regard to Bill's excellent repair method:
Post #22 in this thread:
http://www.shopsmith.net/forums/showthr ... #post43397

I have inquired on eBay and found the proper #10-32 screws here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... AQ:US:1123
That is, 1/2 of the length is smooth and 1/2 of the length is threaded.

If anyone is ultra-cheap, FYI, I got a 100-pack of #10-24 screws (also 2-1/2" long & half-smooth/half-threaded) which worked very nicely for me last night. I have about 98 of those screws left which should be several lifetimes' worth. Drop me a PM if you'd like some.

I will send anyone wanting instructions and a 2 1/2" #10 Hex Head bolt with the 2 star washers and safety nut for this modification. Send me a Email or PM. Thanks.
