The belt squeaks right when I shut the machine off. Does that mean the belt is to tight?

I set my Gilmer belt tension for very little (maybe 1/16") deflection. I use a belt conditioner (auto parts store) on all my belts. Spray the sides of the motor belt as it is more likely to squeak when shutting down.bvrsbro wrote:The belt squeaks right when I shut the machine off. Does that mean the belt is to tight?
