Help with a "Mystery Part"

While cleaning my machines last night, I happened to find this part on the floor. I think it most likely came from the bandsaw, but I am not sure. Does anyone know which machine it is for and where it is located?

This vernier caliper, and a few other non-Shopsmith tools, were included in my "dark garage haul."

Help with a Mystery Part

The calipers might belong to several people who post regularly on this forum. The calipers don't look as though they have gotten much use.

The other part looks similar to the wedge locks used to secure the Carriage to the tubes. I don't know what it would be for, given the length of the bolt, but I think it is some sort of lock. It is not like any part in my band saw.

Better Pictures (I hope)

Thanks Dusty. Here are a couple of more pictures. If it is not part of a bandsaw, my next guess is from the jointer.

It uses the standard size Allen wrench.

Maybe we should start a "Mystery Part" of the week contest.

I find the caliper (mine is digital) is one of the most used tools I have. This one reads just like a micrometer caliper and is very accurate. I would be careful cleaning it up so no lines are removed.

Yes the part is from the jig saw and located as stated in a prior post.

Thanks

Thank you Bettyt and Bill. It is good to know where that part came from. I'm having issues with the belt sander, and thought it might have been from it.
