well the legs look like 1 1/2 square tube welded to make a frame with some casters
and the switch is an on off type i will find it and post it
at first it looked like a GFI Plug but futher looking reveled the red and back buttons

That switch is the kind used on clones.

ok i just called and talk to Patrick
the guy who owns this shop smith
the legs is a stand that he build with a buddy its made out of 2in square tubing and has nice casters
the switch was added but his father who is an elect guy and its a standrd off and on switch
it comes with a bunch of extras sanding disk and pads, some type of hold down for the sander
he wants 400 for it
and the tel is 317-203-6306 and is located in Brownsburg IN
and has dust collection plate with it too

Yes, the headstock is a clone with the Shopsmith Speed Control Assembly replacing the original speed control assembly. Please note the flat bottom of the motor pan and bell housing and the non-Shopsmith Logo cover. The clone has a 2 HP 16.8 Amp motor with a 56 frame.

I have purchased a few of them for parts and do repairs/rebuilds on these clone headstocks. The clone's Speed Control Bracket appears to be made of an alloy that lets the bracket leg(s) break off before bending like the Shopsmith Speed Control Bracket can do. The clone headstock has no place for the anti-vibration spring for the speed dial so I am investigating other methods of accomplishing this task.
