Anyone got a spare control sheave assembly they'd be willing to sell? PM me off line. Currently SS is about 3 to 6 weeks back ordered.. which in common man's time is probably 6 months.

Yes, I do. However due to manufacturing tolerances, I find that not all new or used control sheaves will slide on the idler shaft or the control sheave vane tips will align in the center of the idler sheave vane tips. If the Control and Idler Sheave vane tips do touch/rub, the control/idler sheaves can get stuck in the closed position and can damaged the quadrant or the control Sheave bearing and retaining loop when this happens. Therefore I recommend buying the Control Sheave from Shopsmith so if there is a problem, it can be returned. I do a mix and match with the Control Sheaves and Idler Sheaves and shafts I have and only replaced them as a matched unit.heathicus wrote:If anyone does, it would probably be Bill Mayo!
