I have a biscuit joiner 555320 and I lost the directions for it. Does anyone know how or where I can get a copy? SS was uncooperative (every other company will let me download user manuals free). What speeds do I use for soft and hard wood? Any help would be appreciated.

I can understand your frustration, but I've found a lot of other compainies far less cooperative.

I did a little research and found a couple of places that may be of help to you. The first link is where you can order a manual for your biscuit joiner for $3.09 from Shopsmith. The manual is a 12 page document. Some manuals can be downloaded for free from Shopsmith but others can not, but you can purchase them. The 2d link is information from The Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone book which is a very useful tool for any Shopsmith Owner. You can often find this book on ebay for a real good price. As for the speeds to use "T" is the recommended speed and for Hardwood it is suggested to reduce the speed to "Q". Hope this will help you.
