Power switch for a SS Power Station

I have a ShopSmith Power Station with a bad switch. I can order from Shop Smith for almost $40, but I thought I would ask if anyone had another source for these type of switches. It is a rocker switch with the pull out key. I would appreciate any feedback.

My switch failed in the closed (on) position. I too questioned the $40 expense and considered just inserting a switch at the end of the plug. But, it would be inconvenient, it would compromise the safety of having an easy switch close at hand, and I would continue to question what was wrong with the switch. I have been told that you can simply move the wires to the opposite, unused side of the switch. Personally, I opted to purchase a new switch. Instillation was a simple plug and play. Like the repair on many enjoyable items, it is just part of the cost of operation.

He sold me a switch for a Power Station a while back and I seem to recall it was considerably less than $40.

I just dropped Bill an email to see what he may have. I also found a sealed rocker switch that will fit the cutout and is rated for 20 amps that will work. The only problem with it is that it is not a lockable switch like the original. I never use that feature so its not that big of a deal to me. But, if I can replace with the original I would rather do that.
