You can get lots of adapters but most are tapered. I have sent emails to three local machine shops and gotten 0 replies. I need to just find someone with a metal lathe. There is a local place that rents time on tools but they usually change by the month and for the metal tools you have to be certified by the owner it might be worth a try though I have a number of things I would like to make of metal to enhance the Shopsmith.

Maybe I will get a new hobby, last time I used a metal lathe was in high school.
