When I was a boy [back when dinosaurs roamed the earth] I found great joy in turning any unattended 2x4 into a "candlestick" on my Grandfather's 10ER.

Now, 50 years later, I just bought a 1985 Mark V with bandsaw and joiner for $400...I may have gotten a deal .

I have a full shop with a full-sized tablesaw, thickness planer, router table, sliding mitre, scrollsaw and dust collector. Now I have added a drill press, lathe, bandsaw and joiner for half the price of a good contractor's tablesaw!

Oh, and I have one VERY important feature necessary to these endeavors:

A lovely and supportive Wife!
