Hands-Online and updated hompage

I'm writing this in the hope someone at Shopsmith will read this.

It used to be Hands-Online was available. Now it's not. Travelling Academies are advertised on the hompage. Now they're no longer offered. So here are three questions: 1) when will the homepage be updated and 2) Why were the Hands Online section discontinued, and 3) Why haven't past issues of Hands-On been scanned to be accessed from the website?

This thread is not meant for conjecture, however I do believe an answer from Shopsmith is most appropriate. I don't want to read opinions, just facts.

With regard to the Hand-On Archives - is this what you are looking for?

With regard to the rest of the question(s), I suspect the answer is money, the lack of it. During tight times, discretionary spending always takes a cut. Now this is truly now what we normally consider discretionary but it is monies that need not be spent to keep the doors open.

Hopefully, the Academy related items will once again become available!

With regard to posting on this site in hopes that someone at Shopsmith will read and react- don't hold your breathe. As I have stated before, I have several items in my email (to Folkerth) that have not even been opened. One is almost 3 years old.

If you really feel that you must communicate - write a real honest to goodness letter and send it registered.

Not only $$$, but manpower as well. I assume someone who is familiar with the web site/pages/functioning is no longer a ss employee.

Although not performing as intended, they do not stop the rest from 'working'. Tis best to leave it alone for the present.

When archiving the traveling academy pages, I missed the traveling academy link in the menus. This is now corrected. (I hope that is the advertisement you meant).

Limited resources forced us to stop the hands online effort.
