Looking for a good source for parts especially lathe chucks and other accesories. :

If it is a 1956 model, it is a mark 5 'Greenie'.

i have the same model. did you get the lathe chuck stuck in the qill like i did.

A coupla of things will cause any quill shaft attachment to get 'stuck'.
Using the wrong type of set screw. Make sure the screw has a
flat end that tightens onto the
flat of the shaft. Do NOT use a cupped or serrated cup screw.
Make sure you ALWAYS tighten ONLY onto the flat of the shaft.
Make sure foreign matter does not get into the attachment hole.
Make sure you ALWAYS loosen the screw sufficiently to clear the un-flatted portion of the shaft end.
Keep shaft and attachment bores clear of corrosion(RUST).
There are other ways, but they require mishandling other 'stuff'.
