Speed settings on the Shopsmith

Post by No name »

Does anyone know as far as the dial you use to adjust the speed on your Shopsmith the rpms of each setting. I do know it is about 700 rpm on slow and about 3000 on high. So does that mean about half way is 1500 rpms?

There is a speed chart in the "Father's Day" Shopsmith Catalog on page 33. Yes High speed is 5,200RPM, L = 2,000 and M = 2,400RPM.
