Has anyone out there in ShopsmithLand purchased/used the Mark V Table Storage System. I'm trying to organize my garage, which is my workshop as well as whatever my wife wants it to be. Finding a sensible place for the floating tables and connecting tubes has been a bit of an issue for me. I've considered buying this system, but am unsure; so, anyone out there use it and, if so, would you recommend it?

Yes, I use it; yes, I recommend it. Mounted mine on the side of a storage cabinet so it doesn't take up any valuable wall space.

Yes I purchased one set and liked it so well I now have two mounted on walls in my shop. I welded a set to hang my primary crosscut sled that woks well yet I still like the Shopsmith set for their tables. Not to mention the price is right. fjimp

Mine is hung on one of the entry doors. It is a little high according to instructions, but works real good for floating tables and short extension tubes.

Not too handy for Mark 5s or 10ERs.

It is essentially a wall bracket and uses the tubes to hang the tables on.

I appreciate the input. Your comments talked me into it. I ordered today and, according to SS email it was actually shipped out today. Quickest turnaround for a SS order that I have ever had.

I like mine. I did try mounting the brackets with magnets directly to the back of a storage cabinet but discovered that the mounting board also acts as a spacer so that the top hooks will hold 4 alignment tubes. without that board, it only holds 2 tubes. fortunately, I notched the magnet cups before I assembled it. when I get a chance, I will take it back apart and add the board.
