Safe Mode
I think my sons computer has got a bug. It is running XP. When it gets to the logon screen, it restarts over and over. When I try to put into safe mode it starts loading the drivers, then it freeze's. I have tried it all the safe modes and get the same thing. Any ideas? If I could get into safe mode then I would try to clean it. I don't think it is a virus.

Ouch....the things little scamps do.
If you can't run it in safe mode, haul out the OS discs, boot from them, and try to run a Repair. If the repair is successful, boot to safe mode, hit it with Malwarebytes, then Windows Security Essentials, and lastly, Advanced System Care.
If the Repair doesn't work, try the manufacturer's restore. Else use the CD's and start from scratch.
Once it's up and running, load the anti-virus Avast! on it.
