How about the SS miter gauge bar? Just buy a couple and double up on them for your required length? It's part no. 518104. The current price on sale is $18.48. Alec

Thanks for the input guys. I was wishing, though, for miter bars that were more adjustable than the 518104 or 516619.
I think these two are the same except that one is predrilled for the miter gauge.....I think.

I just purchased two more of these but they are NOT adjustable to the extent that the Incra bars are. At least I have not been able to get satisfactory results. The reason I have two bars (518104) in the shop now is for a miter slide with two bars. I am hoping that with two bars I can adjust out the side movement.

I have used the Incra in a friends shop and the adjustability is phenomenal. The Shopsmith bars are adjustable but I can't find the sweet spot. There is either a little slop or the bar is frozen. Maybe I just don't have the touch.

Check with the Incra company and see if they make one especially designed for the Shopsmith. The Incra Miter Gauge that Shopsmith sells comes with a specially made miter bar that fits the Shopsmith miter slots.
I have the Incra/SS Miter Gauge 2000 and it is easy to adjust the fit to the slots, so hopefully they will make one in this particular kit that fits the Shopsmith.
This kit you are talking about can be used to make a lot of different homemade jigs, from miter sleds to tenoning jigs, and the kit comes with the plans to make all these jigs too.
It will be a big boost if they make them for Shopsmith too.

I have contacted McFeelys and asked about Shopsmith availability. I will post the reply here. Alternatively you cold contact Inca for the bar, since they do sell Shopsmith compatible bars but maybe only through Shopsmith.

It's quicker to order it from Incra and probably the same price. Incra is close to San Antonio, TX and they ship quick, I've called early Monday morning and had parts delivered Wednesday. They will sell parts not sold exclusively by Shopsmith so call them and ask. the aluminum miter track is used on the Miter 5000 to lock the left (non sliding) side to the table.
