Lube and Rust Control

PG2000 used to have an oil pen that is perfect for getting those oils drops where they need to go. I bought mine at Woodcraft. They still sell the big bottles of PG2000, but I haven't seen the pens in the store lately, but probably still available from PG2000 if WC doesn't still carry them online.
I have had my SS since 2003 and just now having rust issues on the bottom tubes. Not sure why since I don't have any issues with any of my other machines as long as I don't set a wet drink down on the metal. I bought some T9-Rust Free and used it with a scotch brite pad. It worked great and now I am wondering why I didn't do it when the rust first started. It beats the heck out of the potato treatment and electrolysis approach. I have experimented with the electrolysis method and it is unbelievable for removing bad rust. I opened fully rusted holes in a horseshoe and removed enough rust from a big bolt to get it to work again.
