On my newest find I see the end of the quill is different than my other SS.

Any idea why. It appears to be one piece.
it has a shoulder on it. This will also effect my saw blade aligment I assume.


there is a flat spot on the one on the left just failed to turn the quill for the picture.

On the left-side photo, the silver collar is installed backward. If turned around, it will look like the right-side photo.

Could the one on the left be installed backwards?

yup, it was on backwards for some reason
