Mark V & M-7 dumb questions

Well, I broke down and peeked at the Mark 7 to see whassup. It is the E-mail- the one whut features the Lift-Assist for the new 7.
Okay. So, does that mean there's only one L-A and it's on the left end now?
Or are there now 2 L-A's?
Do you Shape on the Left, and drill on da right? And swap that table, with all a yer might?
Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?
How about the Ext & Aux tables?
The "Buy it now" window in the SS ad shows the Ext on da Left, and an Aux floater.
Duz this mean that is the preferred settup- on the Left?
Speaking of that, has anyone actually thought about- enuf to recommend one way ot t'other- what side the Ext table should normally be on?
Somehow I automatically setup with the Ext on the Right, and generally use the Right miter slot. Am I wrong?
Is there a "general" rule of thumb for Ext (and/or miter gauge) placement? (Exceptions noted where the fence may need extreme positioning R or L).
[And by the way, regardless of Nick's excellent adventures in the SS shop putting the Ext on either side "equally", that to me is so much poppycock. Mine does NOT roll that way.]
Back to the L-A: if you now need only one L-A, that on the Left side, the biggest question I can think of in re that is : why?
Lastly, and this may be moot, as mine may be unique, if I can't align all my tables the way Nick does in the videos now, why on earth would I think I could do so with both ends being free-floating?
{somehow I'm having trouble remembering exactly why I would up favoring the right side miter slot etc.}
