MicroAdjustable Stop Collar

I love the adjustable stop collar - most of the time. There are times that it just gets in the way (restricts table travel in drill press mode). Yes, I can always take it off and I do. But I sure wish that that was never necessary.
It would be great if the micro-adjustable stop collar feature was built into the carriage.

I can see that being a big improvement.
What if the stop collar was "C" shaped and could be just slipped on and off of the post without having to remove the table?

Yep, my experience has been the same- love the stop collar, hate putting it on and off.

Built in precision table height adjuster up from underneath.
