I looked through most of the post and can't seem to find this answer.
How do I get the wedges out in order to remove the blades.
I took out the top 3 screws and washers which I thought would hold the wedges in place.
I don't think I need to remove the leveling screws.
so how do I get the wedges out. They seem to be stuck in there pretty good.
TIA

By backing out the 'leveling screws', they act as a 'screw jack' to push the wedges out. If you are removing the blades to sharpen, you are going to need to readjust them anyway. Alternate between the two leveling screws until the blade and wedges 'bust loose'. Careful prying can help(I said Careful!!!).

Tighten down the leveling screw, that should POP the wedges loose.

If they do not 'pop', then you can get a small screwdriver between the leveling screw head and the blade/wedge.
