Newest intrasia

Post by kalynzoo »

Just finished this going away present for my son who is being sworn in with the Portland Police Bureau. I've had the pattern for years, and I can't remember the original artist. I purchased the pattern when I first purchased my scroll saw, and the original work was given to my older son who is with LAPD. Back then it was only a simple fret cut and some wood burning. I enjoyed modifying the pattern as an intrasia. The ring, badge and bullets are yellowheart. The hand and face are maple. I found a knot that worked just right for the eye. The cover is basswood stained blue.

Too cool, decorative stuff with cop theme is really hard to find. Hosedraggers and all the branches of the military are everywhere but never police stuff. Your son will love it.

Tell him congrats and be safe from Red Wing PD in MN
