the worst part is I would bet that all of those stupid labels are there because someone sued for the exact thing on the warning label

The companies comply with the law because of the folks who buy the products, misuse them, sue and didn't read the instructions or safety warnings. Have watched folks do this for many years. Sorry for this, but I think they get what they work for. LOL

Hmm, seems I have a different interpretation of stunningly dumb warning labels than the author. I happen to rather like this one.

It does a good job of getting the point across, clearly and succinctly, and that's a good thing.

I wonder what the author thinks would be a better alternative to such a simple and direct warning label.

I agree on this one! Not as obvious a danger as one would assume.
