Shopsmith Repairs Itself, Again

I saw on eBay lately that someone is selling a heavy-duty quill-advance handle. That reminded me, I was able to straighten my own, using the Mark V base-casting and the heel of my hand. I got it dead perfect! (Good enough to put in the Jacobs chuck and polish.)

Good ol' fashioned ingenuity! Just a friendly admonition: be careful wearing a wrist watch in the shop.
