Great shots.

I have significantly improved my photographic skills since I started posting here on the forum but I still cannot get closeup shots like these.

I have gotten so that I use the rip scale a lot more than I used to but BE CAREFUL - it moves if you bump it just right and it is sharp if you brush against it just right.

Dusty I don't have any problems with mine moving. I clean the magnet occasionally with mineral spirits on a rag. I have had an additional scale on order since 3/15/11 for my 520 # 2.

Thanks Mark, the photos are just what I needed. Looks like my 35$ investment will work.

Does your camera have a macro(closeup) selection on the mode dial? Look for a flower icon.

Yup, I got one of them but my pictures don't come out that clear. I even use a tripod when I attempt closeups.

Poor photography has been the story of my life. I even had trouble with my Brownie. Now I have trouble finding film for it.

Getting it developed can be trying!:D

Mark is the scale in the photo the 91/2" SS scale?
I have a coversion for the old 520 now. trying to post a photo with no luck.
