Bandsaw Blade reccomendations

Sorry guys, more questions..maybe one day I can answer someones instead of always asking.
I ended up with 2 bandsaws, bothe cast table styles. (when did they stop using those anyway?)
One is in excellant condition and thanks to you all, it is adjusted pretty well. I am missing the table inserts for both (which I got a part number for today) and that makes sawing a little tricky, but I'll oder one.
The other needs a rebuild, as the tires look wore and cracked, so when I can afford it I'll get new tires and a bearing set. But the goal is to keep one with a resawing blade on it and one with a "best choice" blade on it for most everything else.
I did get the following blades with the purchases (2-1/8'", 2-1/4" in boxes) and (1-1/2", 2-1/4"--look like the standard blades). I made a but with the 1/2' and it seems in pretty good shape and thought that could be my resaw blade.
I took one of the new 1/4" blades and put it on and adjusted. I made my first bandsaw box over the weekend and the corners and the cuts were pretty rough and needed alot of sanding. I believe it is the 6 tooth per inch blade.
Q-which blades and how many teeth per inch would you rely on for most work related to bandsaw boxes and small boxes ect (I'm a learner) of glues up stock up to 3-5 inches?
