This is a thread to show Shopsmith owners in the state of Indiana. Just post your general location. I generally just say "Central Indiana" but I am outside of Shelbyville Indiana.

Max Monts here just outside of Bloomington. I got my mid-80s ShopSmith 11 years ago and have done all sorts of remo, casework, furniture and turning with it. I've had a PowerPro now for just 'bout a year, and it's SSSOOO great for lathe work, that I haven't even tried the other functions yet.
For us turners in the crowd, I've used the McNaughton Bowl Coring system with the old Power head with less-than-satisfactory results. The Nova/SS PowerPro changed all that, tho!! WOW!! At 250 RPMs and ever-replenishing torque, I may never do another change-out again...
(I'll have to NOT say that aloud in the shop - just a portion of my 2-car garage - or the joiner, planer, etc. will start to become jealous of the lathe.)
I'm outta here to mow some grass, bale some hay, and maybe, just maybe, later on, get lathed

North side of Indy, but currently in Los Angeles on a trip!
A Shopsmith "devotee" for a little over 4 years now. It's been great fun, practical, and seems to help me control my weight better than any other hobby to date. Hard to sit still when there's a Shopsmith in the basement.

I've had shopsm

iths off and on for almost 40. years. I have a shop full of stand alone machines but more often than not I use the shopsmith. It's a 1957 greenie.

This thread has been idle for a while. I just thought I would bump it back on top to see how many more Hoosiers have come along since.
