I can't seem to keep my main table from slipping. A minimum amount of pressure on the table makes it lose its position.. The only way to keep it relatively solid is to really crank down on the table top lock, but I know this isn't good either. How can this be fixed? What should I look for?

Are you referring to the tilt lock on the trunion, the height lock on the carriage, or the lock to keep the carriage locked in place along the way tubes?

If its the carriage lock, check to make sure that both of the locks are engaging when tightened. You might need to remove the carriage to inspect the wedges to make sure that they are not too worn either.

I'm referring to the table height lock. The table tilt lock and carriage lock are fine.
