Cordless Tool Storage

I have the Ryobi cordless tool set, ie drill, angled drill, circular saw, etc.
What's your solution to storing your cordless tools to keep them at the ready?

I built a shelf that monuted to the wall above my work bench. I then made cut outs for the drill, jig saw, roto zip, angle sander and couple other tools. It worked out quite nice. Most of my were not cordless but Since your are it would make it even better in your case.
I took one of those pattern jigs not sure what it is really called. But its a metal clamp with around 100 small metal rods inside it that you use to get a shape that is not easily measured. and then traced it on the shelf and cut it out so the tool could slide into the slot from the front.

Well I don't have it any more. Or you would be seeing pictures of it. It burned up in the fire I had in 07. But I was just thinking of making another one.
And yes I am talking of a couture gauge but mine is not as colorful or thick as that in the harbor freight pic.
Mine is about 1/8" thick rods in a holder and its all made of what looks like galvanized steel.
I think I still have it I will look through my boxes and see. Most of my tools are still packed up in the Trailer.

I also know they used to make a "holster" for cordless drills. They were meant for tool belts, but in the field we use to mount them on ladders on on the walls in our vans and I've seen framers screw them to saw horses. A guy could mount them right under your workbench for easy grabbins.
