Here is a good one too. Price is right and it includes shipping. Note though that it comes from China with no middle man.

It seems to me that several members recently purchased tachometers.

Two things on this one, no free shipping and battery not included. There are others like the one Gene pointed out selling on Feebay that do include the battery.

All total I paid about $12.00; shipping was about $9.00 and I had to provide my own 9 volt battery. So for $12.00 and a battery I no longer have to wonder at what speed it is running.

Incidentally, I have discovered that the speed dial and speed charts are pretty darn close to right on.

A tachometer is sorta like digital micrometer - you really don't need one to do quality work.
